Privacy Policy

Insite is a personal, read-only TikTok dashboard operated under the public pseudonym Lior Vale. Privacy questions and deletion requests: life_rehire4d@icloud.com.

Information Insite retrieves

Only after you authorize TikTok, Insite retrieves your TikTok app-specific account identifier, display name, avatar, and metadata and performance counts for your recent public videos. The requested permissions are user.info.basic and video.list.

How it is used

The information is used only to display the connected profile, recent public videos, and summary performance measures inside Insite. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to post, edit, or message on TikTok.

Storage and security

The TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored in the Site’s server-side database and are never placed in browser code or shown on the dashboard. Insite also stores the granted scopes, token expiration times, and a short-lived cached copy of the profile and recent-video response. A secure, HTTP-only state cookie is used for up to ten minutes during connection to prevent request forgery. After connection, a separate random, HTTP-only session cookie keeps the private dashboard limited to the browser that completed authorization; it expires after 30 days.

Retention and deletion

Connection records remain until authorization is revoked, the integration is reset, or deletion is requested. Cached TikTok responses are refreshed as the dashboard is used. You may revoke access in TikTok’s connected-app controls and may request deletion using the contact address above.

Service providers

ChatGPT Sites and its hosting infrastructure process requests and store the server-side application data needed to operate Insite. TikTok processes sign-in and API requests under TikTok’s own policies.

Your choices

You may decline authorization. If you authorize, TikTok lets you grant or deny requested permissions and later revoke access. Revocation may require reconnecting before Insite can refresh its display.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the service or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised for material changes.
